Key Lime Pie Recipe

Today I want to share with you a key lime pie recipe that I love! It has almost become a tradition in my family to have key lime pie on special occasions like Christmas and birthdays or just any day really it is that good!

Recipe:

* 1 pie crust in the large size

* 1 can of condense sweeten milk

* 4 eggs

* 1 cup of sugar

* 1/2 a cup to 3/4 of a cup of lime juice (depending on your personal preference)

In a two mixing bowls separate the yolks in one and the egg whites in the other.

Add the sweetened milk and lime juice to the mixing bowl containing the egg yolks and mix with a spoon.

Add the mixture to the pie crust and put it in the oven at 350 F for 15 minutes.

While you wait for the pie crust to be ready start mixing your egg whites to make the merengue as the mixture thickens start adding your cup of sugar until everything is smooth.

After the 15 minutes take you pie crust out of the oven and add the merengue on top ( you can do any designs you want ) and take the pie back to the oven for about 10 minutes or until the merengue looks golden.

Take it out of the oven and let it cool after that put it in the fridge for 30 minutes and enjoy!
